A Pennsylvania state trooper was saved while wearing an RBR 203-70 tactical vest on January 1, 2006. A combination of the RBR Flex IIA-35 armor system and an RBR CPIII/IV ballistic rifle plate are credited with the save against an SKS 7.62 rifle bullet. BRB is told that the officer immediately recovered from the shot, retrieved a new vest from the station and was back on scene to finish the job.
